ScholarSwap

Policies

Clear boundaries for trust, recording, materials, and student data.

These policies keep ScholarSwap focused on verified teaching exchange, privacy-conscious coordination, recording consent, and clear material boundaries.

Privacy

What does ScholarSwap collect?

Only the information needed to verify scholars and coordinate guest teaching exchanges. Admin notes and verification evidence stay private.

Student Data

What should never be submitted?

Do not submit student names, emails, IDs, grades, rosters, attendance records, accommodation data, LMS exports, or named student comments.

Recording

Can a class session be recorded?

Recording is off by default. It requires guest permission, host-institution permission, and host handling of student notice, consent, access, and retention rules.

Materials

Can slides or prompts be reused?

Guest scholars retain rights in slides, readings, prompts, questions, and other materials. Default use is limited to the matched class session unless broader reuse is explicitly permitted.

Need a correction or deletion?

Privacy, correction, and deletion requests should be sent to the project contact address.
